Today I’m sharing home decor and furnishings I encountered in the wild while putting together a design to furnish a conference room with warm and colorful accents. Some splurges, some good deals. These especially have lots of textures, neutrals, and a vintage, transitional flair.
When I’m creating custom mood boards or looking for design solutions for a home coaching session, I encounter furniture and decor pieces along the way that might not be a perfect fit for my client’s home, but might just be a perfect fit for yours.
Here are this week’s design finds in the wild!
Lighting Finds
Lots of rattan goodness this week. A large rattan floor lamp and a mini one with a fluted natural shade (swoon), caught my attention this week. Such unique pieces to add to your home.
Decor Finds
I found myself looking at lots of vintage art this week. Especially ones with green landscapes, countryside vibes and vining flowers. I’m such a sucker for anything english-cottage look and these were to good not to include.
Furniture Finds
These two accent chairs are pretty different. Both affordable options from Target. One is a from Studio McGee’s new line at Target and is very transitional, old world style with the white fabric and dark wood accent. The green velvet chair is a little more modern. Also found this super cute shelving unit from WestElm – I loved the soft edges and angled front supports. Pairs easily with a similar floating wall shelf too.
Rug Find
Just one rug this week, but it’s a good one! Really neutral color with a tan/pinkish grid pattern in it. Could fit into my different home styles.

I always say when I share links, I don’t share products with you because I think you need them or because you’re missing out.
But because it might just be the perfect piece to go on your empty wall or in the corner of your room that you haven’t been able to figure out.
I hope these items inspire you in your own home. More design finds in the wild next week!
